Brooks Family Flipside

Yesterday I had the honor to capture little David's 1st year pictures along with mom & dad. Here's a little preview...since I couldn't wait! Enjoy...

Mini Me

5x5 mini soft cover books are the neatest thing. I customized the packaging and even found purple tacks. Not that everything has to be purple. Everyone's will be different especially the inner lining which is chosen based off the mood & colors the shoot produces. Love em'...get YOURS!

A Little Project

I created this with the help of my husband for Tania & Lashley our close friends who are expecting a little girl. They are the first one's out of our close group of friends to have a lil' one on the way. I searched hard and long for the tiles and the frame...finally found the right size and colors. Eric picked out the lime paint and helped pull it all together for me. Ohh and the flower just adds a whimsical touch. Little Sadie is set to be born June 1st! We really really can't wait to be UNCLE ERIC & AUNTIE CASIA!!!

Here they are!

As promised...here's the rest of the tour. I LOVED LOVED all the cool colors & textures & lighting. Have I mentioned how much I love little details...well they're the BEST!

Here's one to hold ya over

I hope to have more of the tour to post...but with it being my 2nd Anniversary my husband and I are planning on taking it easy today! Movie & Dinner date...gotta go!

4th Annual Phx Home Tour

This is where we'll be tomorrow. 'Progress + Preservation' Charles and Arthur Schreiber's Village Grove Tour in Phx. My husband & I have been looking forward to this for a long time now...ever since we found out back in January. We have gone 3 out of the 4 years and wouldn't miss another one. Not only is it so much fun to see what people come up with but we get so much inspiration for our own projects especially with our own home. Which will be on a home tour one day too for SQ11. Though it's still demo'd inside.. STILL! This better kick our butts back into gear and get going again. I will of course be documenting the tour and will post my favorites & most inspiring techniques!

Here's a peek at what's on the tour!

Some more objects

Here's the latest objects I came across on two shoots. Just some more unexpected stuff to add to the collection!

The Kiddos

So who says you can't get a good group shot of kids! I think this is outstanding since the range is 2yrs-9yrs old. Here's a little peek at what fun we had. More to come soon...
