So my cousin got MARRIED...

*Anne & Adam*... Becker.  My crazy, wild, over the top cousin Anne got married a few weeks ago.  She's the blonde bombshell that can't get enough of everything.  I remember first meeting Adam at my own wedding and knew he would be great for her... cause he could keep up with her.  Not to mention their dancing is off the hook.  Well here's what I managed to capture while still enjoying the evening since I was a guest.  It was actually nice to not have the pressures of documenting another family milestone.

Enjoy...

The most beautiful church in little Lemont, Il.

The Pastor is Anne's Grandpa! That's so unique.  He even married her little sis two years ago and still laughed that he wouldn't get choked up all while he was tearing up!  The personal stories about Anne's childhood were so heartfelt.

I made sure that my husband had the biggest hand full of petals.

Caught this in a random moment... LOVE IT.

I couldn't resist this little detail with our name on it... oh and my cute little clutch + the yummy cake.

Arch-E Artwork

While I was editing through some images that Eric took at the last AIA home tour (which I couldn't go on & was so sad but there's another one coming up soon)... I knew immediately I had to post some favorites I've come across. Who knew he was learning and catching on so quickly. I am throughly IMPRESSED. I knew he had it in him! I love all of the compositions.

Enjoy...

Ok... so when our house is done this is going to be a definite huge ART PRINT! Looks like something from a architectural magazine.  Mmmm... maybe someone has a hidden talent for photographing details.

Wondering

All shot while Eric & I were in Chicago last month.
We had an absolute blast and would LOVE to live there one day! They have the most amazing communities and entertainment.  Let alone all the simplistic yet jaw dropping details. We both can't wait to finish our home remodel so we can proudly display all our travels.  It's going to be hard to decide.  By then we'll probably have many more favorites to add to the collection.

Just breathe & take it all in

Sit back

Relax

Think

Wonder

And most importantly

Dream

Yes this is what I love to do.

And finally...

Ok I'm seriously wrapping up the images from the Bisbee shoot a few weekends ago.  Last but not least are Wendy & Amber. These girls couldn't have done a better job.  Kadie definitely spent the time finding models & those who would do anything to get that *money* shot.  Some of these images are way unique (not most people will venture out into the rain, running make-up and all).  Shoots like these have no pressure.  You're not trying to please a paying client... you get total freedom, just fly by the seat of your pants, and go with the flow.  Wait... that's what I do all the time...opps.  But I guess that best describes my style.  I have some pre-visualizations but other wise I just play off of my clients personalities and what they are most comfortable doing.  Usually the best shots though are those that you weren't even going to do but something deep down inside told you to get it.  I look back at those shots and they tend to be the most 'me'.  Here's some that I wasn't even gonna attempt but knew I would be kicking myself in the butt if I hadn't.  It's all about taking chances.

Enjoy...

This is Wendy.  And lets just say that girl had billion dollar shots.  I was so delighted to find out that she had black lace tights on and boots to match.  Not to mention her long hair.  Now that takes dedication.  And to think I complain about my 15 minute blow dry.

Woo Hoo.  Going on the website.

Makes me *smile*

Something so raw about this image.

Amber was probably the most sought out model of the day & I didn't even get a chance to walk around with her since we only had a few group changes, due to the constant rain.  Here's what I managed to get on our little breaks & while we were stuck in the historic hotel.  She totally worked it all day long for everyone.  I bet she was one tired gal.

Love the painting, the chair rail, the tone, and the expression.  Ohh and the lovely side lighting from the front door of the hotel.

Up next...

A continuation from the Bisbee shoot with the fun 'The Click' group. If anyone wants to get on the mailing list (those who live in Arizona) & be part of the monthly extravaganza let Kadie know... kadie@pangburnphotography.com

So next up is Lauren & Shaun. Boy O' boy do these two crack me up. Shaun definitely seems like he would do anything for Lauren (or is it that he doesn't want to be in the 'dog house' again?) especially when it comes to her photography & changing her shoes...LOL. Yes she's a photographer too! YAY. So as we were walking around up & down the streets of Bisbee she helped scout out spots. That town has some of the most interesting alley ways, drive ways, and store fronts... and brick walls. So as we set up our clueless shots, yes I said clueless. Cause usually I have some ideas and inspiration but after numerous group changes with models, my mind was drawing a blank... seriously. Luckly Lauren and Shaun kept shouting out ideas and then the creative juices started to miraculously flow again.. or was it that when Shaun kept wondering off it gave me time to think. Mmmmmm. Yes Shaun was quite the wonderer. Let's just say he saw a store that sold 'honey'. You know the kind bees* make. And he had to go buy some. I thought it was very funny especially since he had to carry that dang honey jar around with him for the rest of our session. Oh well... at least he had a sweet treat at the end of the day! Thanks again for being such troopers & experimenting with some of our crazy ideas.

Enjoy...

And to think this shot only happened cause she was changing her shoes... Perfect.  Not to mention the teeny tiny rain drops drizzling down the umbrella.

Saucy.

Told ya.

Awwww.... love it!  Those quirky little moments float my boat.  What makes this image for me is how her left foot is blurred by the movement.

Sometimes the guys are just the props.  And I tell them that.  Sorry.

I've never shot anything like this... but something about it is quite interesting.

Another Photography Workshop

Now I just found out about this one like 3 days ago... so I'm sorry if I didn't get a chance to tell you (all my photog friends) about this one.  It was totally a last minute call on wether to make the drive up to good o' Phoenix and to take on the sweltering HEAT!   Seems I've been going up there monthly.  Geeezzzz.
Anyhow I'm going to David Jay's 'Free to Succeed' Tour. Check it out. He is also known for the 'Showit' sites which many of the leading top photographers use. I hope to learn helpful marketing tips, how to streamline my workflow more efficiently, and really how to make my business more kick ass. Can't wait to tell you all about it.  Ohh and Jasmine Star is the special guest!  It will be neat to see her again.  I met her last year at the Seattle 'Anti-Workshop'.
