Jesse's Flipside (senior) Edition

I can't tell you how amazed I am with the results. Jesse even brought his guitar & we found unique spots which I have never shot before. They even had some great textures! The weather was AWESOME which allowed us to cover a lot of the downtown area. I'm really glad that Jesse tried new things and got more than just ONE pose! Hint hint...wink wink...if you don't know me yet... people will tell you I definitely get variety. Enjoy...

The light above provided the perfect amount of fill on Jesse's face. Love these little surprises.

I'm still playing & practicing with textures. Thought this one deserved the effort!

I was so excited when I found this little niche. I knew it would be an instant favorite!

When we came around a corner this unique spot of light was reflecting off of a near by high rise onto this amazingly unique wall with a floating door. It immediately caught my attention. As I was setting up the shot...as what most teenagers do...Jesse was playing with the cell phone. I had to capture the shadows. I'm off to the left...see the elbow.

Again the amazing light reflected right onto Jesse!

The Rasmussen Boys

I had the pleasure to tag along on this wonderful shoot! Total of 3 photographers=numerous shots, styles, and hopefully not getting in the way!!! My style is usually industrial meets unexpected and I knew right when I passed by this little delightful spot it would be exciting! While editing I had to post this one first...makes me giggle so much. The little one's hair kept taking off in the wind but hey you gotta work with what ya got. Enjoy...

Part III

Ok so here's the last images from the AMAZING maternity shoot. These were a lot more spontaneous and I experimented with different levels and depths. I can't tell you how wonderful it is when your clients let you do whatever you want. The end result is usually surprisingly magical. Enjoy...

We were lucky to find a patch of wildflowers still in bloom since the season was ending.

Sorry so small...can't get the longer doubles to show full size. Click on image to view!

At first we tried to wipe off the dirty feet but then it turned into the dirt just sticking more. I love the contrast...so we just went with it!

Love how the dress blew in the wind and showed off her belly more!

Tania's idea on reflections!

Katie's Flipside (senior) Edition

Thank you Katie for bringing such awesome awesome clothes, jewels, and not to mention the HEELS! I had to absolutely work on this image first...it freakin' ROCKS! Katie and I had a blast yesterday during the shoot...you know it's going to turn out great when the client is up for anything. Here's a hint of what's to come: million dollar lighting, laughter, and oh yeah the mischievous looks.
Enjoy...

Brooks Family Flipside

Talk about the best lil' kiddo...David lasted the whole entire session without a complaint. Probably since mom was jumping around and making all sorts of quirky noises to get his attention...ok well I'm guilty too! I am so excited to share what I've edited so far. The intimate moments are to die for & so are David's adorable cheeks. Enjoy...

Totally a favorite!

My Favorite from the day!

Part II

As continuted...here's the super fun stuff! Talk about 'pops' of color and lighting. I loved all the 'HAPPY' accidents...flat tire on wheel barrel, texture & markings on the old adobe wall, and best yet was the AMAZING light and wind blowing in Tania's hair.
