Another weird find at a site!

While passing through some walkways on my last shoot we came across this lil' GEM! And of course I had to document it. I LOVE the bright colors and how it's falling apart right where you sit!

These walls have gone wild!

Here's some well overdue images I took while on an architectural home tour. I can't tell how much I LOVE these tours. So much inspiration and visual overload! Wowie...more to come later.

Don't think you've met...

Ok so I normally don't do posts like this but how could I not! This is Ashley & Brandon. The mighty Basset Hound & Black Lab mixes!!! I know! They still look so puppy-like and are going on 8yrs old. This dynamic duo are always barking and chasing the school kids as they walk by. Grrrr....so annoying & can't wait to get a non-see through fence! Awww that'll be the day!

Interior Details

As promised here's some really raw detailed shots of the location. I love the old chairs and dirtiness of the site. Talk about watching where you step. We were constantly dusting ourselves off and keeping our eyes peeled for any critters. Luckily none were ever witnessed. Enjoy...

Rad Locations

A few weeks ago I went out shooting with some awesome fellow photographers! Dave Harvey & Michelle Rasmussen invited me out for an afternoon of photographic delight and location searching. The lighting was ohh so delicious!

...stay tuned for some raw location shots & room details from the abandoned building.

You never know what you'll find...

When you only do 'on location' shoots you're bound to find great surprises! Here's what was lying around on a site I just recently visited. I'm now using it for my 411 contact page on the website. Love it!

Note to self...

Don't put my camera with the lens still attached in my camera shoot sack while getting out of the car. It might fall out...;) and cost $215 to repair my most precious super wide angle lense!!!Bummer...well I sure did learn.

Family Flipside

Cheyenne, Lewis & Little Drake were so natural around the camera and up for anything. Here's some of my favorites from our shoot at barrio brewery and the old historic district downtown. Drake was definitely a cutie! I learned something very fascinating from this little boy...just pretend you don't want him in the photo and he'll sneak right in and be perfect. The whole time I was photographing just mom & dad he would step right in-those are some of my favorites because he wasn't forced and looks so innocent. Thanks guys for a wonderful time and free reign of creativity!
