Brooks Family Flipside

Talk about the best lil' kiddo...David lasted the whole entire session without a complaint. Probably since mom was jumping around and making all sorts of quirky noises to get his attention...ok well I'm guilty too! I am so excited to share what I've edited so far. The intimate moments are to die for & so are David's adorable cheeks. Enjoy...

Totally a favorite!

Nick's Flipside (senior) Edition Con't....

Here's some of my favorites from Nick's session downtown. The lighting was awesome and so were the locations. Thanks Nick for being such a trooper...told ya they'd kick butt! Enjoy...

My Favorite from the day!

Love...love the lighting & shadows!

Part II

As continuted...here's the super fun stuff! Talk about 'pops' of color and lighting. I loved all the 'HAPPY' accidents...flat tire on wheel barrel, texture & markings on the old adobe wall, and best yet was the AMAZING light and wind blowing in Tania's hair.

Part I

OMG...what an amazing time we all had!!! The creativity was flowing...BIG TIME. But I can't take credit for all of it. They supplied the body paint (LOVE IT) and I supplied the funky backdrop. Here's part I of their flipside maternity session. Can't wait to post part II...stay tuned!

Mini Me

5x5 mini soft cover books are the neatest thing. I customized the packaging and even found purple tacks. Not that everything has to be purple. Everyone's will be different especially the inner lining which is chosen based off the mood & colors the shoot produces. Love em'...get YOURS!

A Little Project

I created this with the help of my husband for Tania & Lashley our close friends who are expecting a little girl. They are the first one's out of our close group of friends to have a lil' one on the way. I searched hard and long for the tiles and the frame...finally found the right size and colors. Eric picked out the lime paint and helped pull it all together for me. Ohh and the flower just adds a whimsical touch. Little Sadie is set to be born June 1st! We really really can't wait to be UNCLE ERIC & AUNTIE CASIA!!!

4th Annual Phx Home Tour

This is where we'll be tomorrow. 'Progress + Preservation' Charles and Arthur Schreiber's Village Grove Tour in Phx. My husband & I have been looking forward to this for a long time now...ever since we found out back in January. We have gone 3 out of the 4 years and wouldn't miss another one. Not only is it so much fun to see what people come up with but we get so much inspiration for our own projects especially with our own home. Which will be on a home tour one day too for SQ11. Though it's still demo'd inside.. STILL! This better kick our butts back into gear and get going again. I will of course be documenting the tour and will post my favorites & most inspiring techniques!

Here's a peek at what's on the tour!
